This type of survey includes a visual inspection and a report on the condition of the building, it’s services and the grounds. This survey is suited to conventionally built, modern dwellings that are in satisfactory condition. These surveys are carried out on behalf of a prospective buyer when they go “sale agreed” to identify any maintenance repair or defects before purchase. It can also give the prospective buyer the ability to renegotiate an offer by asking seller to make needed repairs.
This survey consists of an extensive visual inspection of building, it’s services and the grounds. In addition to buying or selling the property homeowners often require a survey for problem solving or just peace of mind. This type of survey will suit any domestic residential property in any condition. Some concealed areas may be opened where it is safe to do so. It includes advice about repairs and any ongoing maintenance issues.
These surveys identify issues relating to systems like drainage, heating and hot water. Why risk potentially crippling costs if, after purchase, you discover that the property’s plumbing and heating systems aren’t up to scratch? With a wealth of experience, our plumbing and heating engineers can spot potential problems. We provide advice and solutions to problems found.
A snag list is the surveyor’s report resulting from inspection of a newly built property. Identifying any snags in the property that the contractor needs to address before move in. We are available to liaise with contractor about any items on the list.
